Can we all just have a moment of silence to appreciate the magic of this skirt. Ok, good now we can move on. I pulled this skirt for a shoot I was styling, which unfortunately had to be cancelled, so I couldn't resist taking a few sneaky shots in it before it went back to the showroom. I love the fact that it's not floaty and light like most maxi skirts, but is made of much heavier fabric and means you have to exert a fair amount of effort throwing it into the air and makes the exercise much more fun. It's not really something I would wear on a day to day basis but I did enjoy my afternoon spent twirling around this lookout and feeling like Tilda Swinton when she played the Snow Queen. I really wish I had something a little more majestic to wear with this wondrous skirt but I figured it sort of speaks for itself and less is more.

I found this little lookout the other day and it's officially my new favourite place to go, the way it's positioned means you get a complete panoramic view and it makes you feel like you're on top of the world. The view didn't really translate that well onto camera and I wish I could bring all of you here to see it in person because it truly takes your breath away. I can imagine driving up there with a pen and a journal and just writing for hours about dreams and goals and all that metaphorical nonsense, because even though I don't like to admit it I love doing sappy things like that. Sometimes if you just let your imagination fly away wonderful things happen, imagination is what drives this blog after all. Until next time blog lovers, hope you all have a good week!
