W A S T E L A N D


Here are some shots for the editorial I shot for one of my friends Jess Burns. Jess is currently studying fashion design and asked me to help her out as part of an assignment. I was blown away by Jess's creations, can't believe she is already creating such amazing pieces and she's only in her second year! Insane! And I was more than a little flattered that she entrusted me as her photographer, and now I'm dorkily excited about another photo shoot we've got planned for the end of this year. Although I must say I'm not looking forward to having to brutally cull 300+ photos down to just 12. Not fun at all.

Kendra, who was our lovely model, is the sweetest girl in the world but I couldn't help shuddering every time she looked at me because of those freaky ass contacts! All in all it was an afternoon well spent, lots of laughs and I'm really happy with how all the shots turned out!

    What a crazy awesome look! I too find her eyes incredibly creepy but the designer's outfit totally makes everything look great! What a great shoot!

    Those contacts are so freaky! I think they're so cool but I'd do a double take everything I looked. For the first few pictures, I felt like something was wrong but wasn't sure what.

    I didn't actually do the makeup for this shoot, Jess did all the styling, hair and makeup as this was part of the assignment. But I can find out off her for you if you'd like?
