Sometimes you have days that can't be described as anything other than complete and utter crap. You wake up and right away it feels like you've got your own personal storm that shadows you everywhere. Like huge clouds follow you around and rain on you all day long. I guess you sort of need bad days to make you truly appreciate the good ones, but at the time you just want to crawl back into bed and come out when it's over.

If any of you follow me on twitter you would know that my cat Smokey, who I love more than chocolate, was bitten by a snake. It was only a very small snake so luckily the situation wasn't incredibly dangerous, but he still had to be taken to the vet and given anti-venom and is currently staying overnight at the vets. Fingers crossed all will be fine when we wake up in the morning. Unbeknownst to my mother and I, anti-venom for animals happens to be ridiculously expensive (I'm talking upwards of a thousand dollars here) But in the long run it's a small price to pay to keep your family alive and well. But the one thing that made all this truly unbearable, and ended up with me sobbing hysterically in my room, is the fact that people don't seem to care. My family has always loved our animals more than most people, so people tend to not fully understand just how upsetting it is when one of them is very sick. 

Anyway, the day is nearing its close and tomorrow is a new, fresh day. I guess that's all you can do when you have a particularly crappy day; close your eyes, breath deeply and hope like hell that tomorrow is better.
