These photos were taken the other week when the lighting on our grape vines was just divine. I've been really loving the soft light we get at our place of the afternoon it makes everything look like magic. This dress always makes me think of fireworks exploding in the night sky and the colours are just divine. Combine this with the stunning back and the tulle underlay skirt and we've pretty much got a match made in heaven. I was originally going to shoot this dress just by itself, because quite frankly it is a stand alone piece. But then I found this gorgeous purple 'thing' that balances nicely between shawl and cape and I had to put the two together.
On another note:
GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!
I'm writing this to you from my hotel room in Saigon. My first impression of the city so far can only be described in two words; organized chaos.
The amount of scooters and cars and buses on the road at any one time is mind numbing. I nearly had several heart attacks in the taxi ride from the airport to our hotel. It is amazing how these people live, their culture so far has left me speechless.
Today I am headed off to Ben Ten Markets (I have no idea if I spelt that right), and my dad says I will love it so I am quite excited.
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteThis is Flowerling from IFB. :) I am so, so in love with this outfit! I agree that the dress is reminiscent of a breathtaking fireworks show. I am also very much enamored of that lavender shawl; I think it goes so well with the dress. :)
I also think it's interesting that you've visited Vietnam. I hail from the Philippines, which is also a Southeast Asian country. Much of the living conditions there are similar to ours. Overall, I think my country's incredibly beautiful as well, I hope you can visit it one day :)
Keep blogging! I'm excited to see more outfits from you :)
