S H I R T Y.

Shirt and shorts; Vintage. Shoes; Unknown

What we have here my friends is the worlds most fantastic shirt. Let us count on our imaginary, digital fingers the good things that this shirt has going for it; it's a collared button up shirt, it's 100% silk, it cost me less than a dollar and it has cartoon elephants all over it. I challenge you, my dear readers, to find a single shirt on this planet (not including anything by Chanel or McQueen) that is more magnificent than this. Since I bought it I have worn it no less than four times. The simple shape and vibrant pattern just makes it so easy to pair with just about anything and the material means it's breathable for these unseasonably warm days we've been having.
When we do have those warmer days the first thing I reach for are my trusty denim cut offs. Sometimes if you're not careful cutoffs can look like they shimmied their way right off the set of Daisy Dukes. But when done right I think cutoffs can actually be quite elegant. You just have to get the proportions right, short on the bottom than keep it long on the top. And that my friends was your life lesson for this week.

  1. That is quite indeed a crazy fucking shirt. I salute you.
