I'm starting to really have my doubts about Australia's summer, it seems to me like Mr Summer has lost our address. It is almost unheard of to have an Australia Day that is as dreary and downright awful as 2012 was (And here I was thinking 2012 and I would be friends.) So instead of celebrating with the usual ocean swim, bbq and lots of sun I spent most of my afternoon wandering around in impractical shoes and a wonderfully metallic cardigan. I'll admit I got a fair few stares from people who were braving the weather in bikinis and sarongs but then again, living in a country town you get used to everyone staring as soon as you put heels on.
I have been on the hunt for a metallic-threaded cardigan for quite a while now, and I was so ridiculously happy when I found this one that I've worn it pretty much everyday. Even as I find myself proclaiming my love for colour from the top of tall buildings, I also can't deny the passionate and illicit affair that I will always have for dark pieces with a hint of metallic! Also this was my first ever attempt at wearing eyeliner, I'm actually fairly impressed with my skills and I'm going to make it my goal to start perfecting the art of the wing tip eyeliner. Just one of my many goals for 2012, keep your radio's tuned to WITV.fm because there's some exciting stuff on its way!
