Blouse from Paradisco. Skirt from Paper Heart. Shoes from New Look
Can't begin to describe my adoration for this blouse. The colour, the material, the fit, the scalloped hem, the cut out back, there is nothing about it that I don't like. And teamed with this wonderfully swishy skirt from PaperHeart I think we have a match made in heaven. I've been struggling a little bit lately trying to adjust to the whiplash weather, one minute it's sunny, warm and short skirts weather, the next it's back to scarves, stockings and chattering teeth. So I was very glad when I stepped out the other day and found this outfit to be ample coverage for the glorious summer-like day we had. Bring on the real deal I say! For me Summer has always meant a few things; floppy hats, the smell of coconut sunscreen, long drives with the radio blasting and the windows down, slurping down mangoes and letting the juice drip off the veranda. Yes, I know, my summer sounds like a bad movie cliche, but honestly summer where I live is the boss and I can't wait for the official kick off, December 1st couldn't come sooner.
Silly me didn't actually realise that this skirt is in fact navy, not black, until I looked at the photos. And the fact that it's navy only made me love this combo that much more, I can honestly say blue is one of my favourite colours so blue on blue is like pure bliss in one neat little package.
