S O O T H I N G

Every now and then, you have these wonderful days where everything is just great. I met up with my dear friend Erin, from My Mothers Diamond Ring, for a very due catch up. We started the day with a coffee, and a bit of browsing and then meandered on down the the harbour to just be lulled by the crashing of waves and the oh-so-gentle breeze. I was cozied up in my new favourite cardigan, and after WEEKS of rain the sun felt so nice on my face. It was just such a lovely day, and one that I hope to repeat more often. I had a hard time picking which photos were my favourites, so I've decided to make two posts! I'm sorry if I bore you all but I think these beautiful photos deserve to be seen! If you're interested to see what the girl behind the camera is wearing you can head over to her blog! And I know what you're all thinking 'Oh my gosh THAT skirt again.' Yes, I'm aware I wear this skirt a little bit too much, but I can't help it, it's beautiful! And I didn't realise until we were actually at the harbour how appropriate it was! The colour, and the way it looks when the breeze catches it is much like rippling water.

It's day like these that remind you to sit back and look at the big picture. With all the awful things that are going on in the world right now, I truly appreciate what a beautiful place I live in...no matter how much I whinge about it.
