Blouse from ChangeParade. Denim shorts; Vintage levi. Socks; Unknown. Loafers; Vintage
I've been a big fan of knee highs. I always saw other girls wearing and thought they looked great, but when it came down to the nitty gritty, I could never stand wearing them for more than five seconds because they fall down all the time. When a friend gave these to me I had the same grumbling voice in the back of my head, but I wore them nonetheless. I was pleasantly surprised to see that obviously the knee high sock fairy doused this pair in enough 'stayer uper' magic, because they actually do indeed stay up. I think knee high's can be tricky to wear without looking like a street walker but I think I managed to successfully avoid that with a relaxed blouse from 'ChangeParade' and some cute little loafers.

ChangeParade has kindly sent me a little care package of sorts with a few essentials that I've been needing for a while, one being this amazing deep blood orange blouse with slit shoulders. One of my friends commented that normally slit shoulders look tacky but this one nailed it with just the right amount of slit. I think that's one of the best things about, relatively new, online store ChangeParade they manage to make clothes that fit trends but still look timelessly elegant. And letting you all in a little secret? It's so cheap it's slightly scary. Being an eternally broke student meant the price tag for me is nowhere near as abusive on my debit card as many other online stores. And you know what they say, happy debit card means a happy life...or something along those lines.
