B E L O V E D.

Pants; Thrifted. Blouse; Topshop. Shoes; Unknown.

Here we go kids more proof that charity stores are the bomdiggity. I found these beautiful pants sometime last year they are the best fit and are made from the thickest, warmest wool you could ever hope for. Pieces like this are the axis of my entire winter wardrobe, staples in neutral colours that are ultra warm and easy to hide tights underneath, it makes dressing a lot easier when you're not paranoid about being freezing all day. Winter requires clothes that have been properly road tested time and time again.
I get a lot of people asking me where I get my clothes from and I almost feel like I'm disappointing you all when my answer is something boring like 'charity store' but in all honesty around eighty percent of my clothes come from here. Most people get turned off by the thought of owning something someone else has worn but I love the idea that the clothes I wear have lived previous lives and I often catch myself wondering where these pieces have been, what they've seen and who wore them. And don't be fooled by my apparent 'luckiness' you guys only see my successes, but there are loads of times that I'll walk away empty handed but now and then you discover gems like this and it makes the sifting and the moth balls all worth it.
As I write this I am kicking back with a spinning head and a cup of tea, I've reached the tail end of what was a massive week and I'm so glad that I have a few days respite before the true madness that is FW kicks in. Nine days and counting!

  1. No way are they from a charity shop! They are the coolest pants ever. Must go op shopping sometime, I have actually never been!

beautiful colours... like your nail polish as well! but the high heels look really dangerous! I suppose I'd lose a tooth trying to wear them:)

  11. I love this look babe! I love the colour of your pants, they're so striking! I love when you find that amazing piece and just can't take it off, sadly though I've never had much luck at op-shops, nothing ever fits me right - perils of being petite.
