S P O T T Y

Dress from Dangerfield. Shoes from unknown brand. Socks from Forever New. Cardigan from thrift store.

I know what you're all thinking; 'Oh my gosh, she's wearing a dress' I know, I know. I actually only think I've ever posted a picture of me wearing a dress on one other occasion, so as you can probably tell I don't wear dresses that often. I always find them too simple and too hard to style and make interesting because dresses are such stand alone pieces. I found this particular dress stuffed in the back of my cupboard and couldn't believe I'd forgotten about it, the colour and the adorable peter pan collar make this dress so fun and quirky that I don't feel the need to style it up at all! Just throw it on with some boots and a cardigan and you're good to go!

As you can see from the last shot I attempted to get my cat Smokey to take some shots with me and he was much less than obliging, in fact he just about scratched my face off trying to run away. My animals all seem to be incredibly camera shy, perhaps they can't see how incredibly adorable they are. Just to keep you updated on everything, the shop opening went fantastic sold quite a few pieces and everyone was commenting on how beautiful the store looked. I am currently in Sydney and I will starting my week of interning for Market HQ tomorrow, wish me luck!
