They say no good time goes unpunished...or was that deed? Anyway, I had such a lovely time with my friend Grace last Friday when we took these photos. We went down the beach and played along the cliff face and in among all the tea trees, then I got home and realised I had two ticks that had taken up residence in my navel...needless to say they got infected and it wasn't pretty. So after almost a week of having an itchy bellybutton I'm finally fully recovered and decided in celebration I would post the photos.
As much as I adore the city, I do feel incredibly lucky to live where I do when I consider how close the beach is and how beautiful they all are! These photos were taken right on sunset and the light was so soft and golden, it's my favourite time of the day to shoot photos. This little adventure was followed closely by a warm coffee and gooey chocolate cake, what more could you want from a Friday afternoon?
I hope you have all been keeping yourselves warm and dry in this winter weather, we've certainly been keeping busy. We've got some new stock to add to the shop very soon, and some collaborations with some designers and fellow bloggers that we'll let you know about soon!

This is so beautiful. A lonely beach at sunset surrounded by the nature... I don't even like the beach, but I suddenly got in such a romantic mood after seeing your photos.
