You know how there are some places that seem so perfectly magical that if you blinked they'd disappear? This tree and its surrounding area is one of those places. This huge tree dominates basically the entire park and once you're underneath it you feel like you've stepped out of the real world and into something from an Enid Blyton novel. It is honestly just such a beautiful place, I could stay there for hours talking, reading a book or just watching the clouds through gaps in the huge leafy canopy.
It seemed like the perfect place to spend a few hours on such a beautiful sunny day, so that's exactly what myself and one of my best friends did. We climbed, sat, fell, laughed and petted the ponies that reside next door. I even learnt a few lessons, the main one being that I should never climb trees because I'm honestly very bad at it. But on the flip side being in this tree has desperately made me want to be like Peter Pan. Laura Pan? I like the sound of that!
Told you I was bad at it...
